This spicy red lentil soup is easy to make and is in half an hour on the table. You look it?
It seems a long list of spices and ingredients, but most of you probably have in your home. Moreover, you can vary a bit with the herbs, as long as these are but fragrant and oriental.
You will need to 4 come soep:
300 grams of red lentils
1 can coconut milk
1 canned peeled tomatoes
2 cloves of garlic
1 red pepper
1 handful fresh coriander
1 lime into wedges
2 bouillon cubes
2 teaspoons curry
2 teaspoons cumin
1 teaspoon coriander
1 teaspoon turmeric
Pepper, salt and pinch of cinnamon to taste
To make the soup:
Make about 1 liter of broth of the two stock cubes
Cut the onion finely and fry in large stockpot until it is light glassy
Add the spices and let it roast equally
Add the peeled tomatoes and stir well so that the spices mix well
Pour the broth and add now as the red lentils
Cut the red pepper in half, remove the seeds and add the two halves of a whole allow to boil it.
Donate now half of the coconut milk and let boil
Let the soup now about 20 minutes cooking, until the lentils are tender. Longer can.
