Part III: Honeymoon Ibiza

And then to the great day, full of emotions and memories is the time to relax. Now I understand why they do that. And why it is really necessary. Reminisce and have time to give them a place. In your mind and in your heart.

We vetrokken two days later for a long week Ibiza. The island has surprised us greatly. Because although we are not huge partiers, There is nevertheless plenty to do in Ibiza. And our tips I share with you.

Airbnb

We booked our stay through Airbnb.com and stayed at Tony and Peter, in their delicious finca with private garden in Siesta, near Santa Eulalia! Staying with locals you, if you want to, with all kinds of insider tips. Airbnb is therefore highly recommended and often expensive.

Amante Beach Club
A day may very well do decadent and fine at Lover. No loud crowds, but luxury, peace and delicious food. We stayed our last day on a large round bed, with no more than the sun, good food, cocktails and smoothies and a fine book / magazine.

Benirras beach
For us, the finest and most beautiful beach in Ibiza. Located (almost) the northernmost tip of Ibiza with a very nice beach club called Elements. Pricey, but good! Every Sunday gathering many people on this beach for the sunset. Which is celebrated with drum music and dance!

Villages that you must see:
Actually, all the small towns in the interior are fun to visit. They house the most authentic Ibiza. With sleepy center, where sometimes only 1 restaurant or shop is. We were very fond of Santa Gertrudis, with a lovely square full of restaurants and San Carlos, a small sleepy village where house just what hippies.

Furniture stores:
Really huge hit for me is to visit Sluiz! Wow, what a great shop. A kind of concept store with interior, clothing, shoes and even a small coffee shop / cafe. The fashion is what pricey, but the home and living articles attacked me all along. I could set up my whole house with these products! Good news; a shop in the making.

A lot smaller, but beautiful, unique products is It is Cucons Santa Gertrudis is well worth a visit.

The interior of Es Cucons
It is Cucons in Santa Gertrudis

To Eat:
Enjoy with Sunset Ashram on Cala Conta of a sunset dinner. When the sun goes down really is a loud applause from the audience and congratulated one another with the last nice day. Lekker hippie 🙂 Vergis je niet; the food is pricey. Also nice is The Zaguan. Not hip, not fancy, but very fine, familiar and Spanish pintxosrestaurant Ibiza town where you pay for the number of toothpicks at the end of the meal. I like that..

Formentera
Formentera is a day to more than recommendable. What a beautiful island. It is wonderfully quiet and you snort a scooter as the entire island. Go nice and early and used the day or book a night so you can fully to enjoy the peace, for example playa Migjorn. Lucky Beach bar is a must. And go along the way towards La Mola (super view of the highest point) paella dinner at restaurant El Mirador. The latter have the best view ever, promised! But you should not look at the interior.

PS: This blog post is regularly updated with new addresses. Dus kom gerust nog eens terug 🙂
